"I just bought the latest and greatest iFlight BNF but after several tries my receiver won't bind to my radio OR is not showing any stick inputs!"

If this just happened to you, you're not alone. For years the community has been struggling with a sluggish Firmware policy and this is the time when we got to address this issue and speak out!

Issues binding Frsky hardware (or related) on different firmware versions, issues binding 3rd party radios (Jumper, Radiomaster, etc.) with Frsky hardware, telemetry issues with non complient versions, Lua script issues, F.Port cross compatibility issues etc... This is currently the MOST common question on our Freshdesk support page and you're not alone!

If you're sure you've followed every single step in the manual, watched videos explaining the bind process AND did it several times so we know it's right, please continue reading. If not, go ahead and check YouTube or the facebook community for tutorials and support!

You've done everything right but it just won't work, what are the necessary steps to take?

Seriously, we also don't know! We've been testing with several radios but meanwhile not changing our "it's working, just don't change anything" radios for us in-house to pre-fly and test each and every BNF before shipment!

iFlight BNFs equipped with Frsky receivers are shipped with the LATEST hardware version as well as the firmware (provided by Frsky), direclty shipped from the factory in batches!

Suggested steps would be, update your radio to the latest provided manufacturer firmware or get help on the facebook community to find out who's solved the issue with the same hardware or firmware combination at some point.

At the same time, PLEASE make sure you're either on LBT or FCC firmware depending on your region, as well as dividing between ACCST and ACCESS (NO it's not the same! YES both types of firmwares sound pretty similar for some idiotic reason even if those are completely different protocols !!!)

If you're still not able to bind your radio OR it went through the bind process but you're not receiving any inputs, please go ahead and directly contact your radio manufacturer or Frsky for further support.

Sometimes we get messages like "my FC is broken" but this I can guarantee you is not the case in 99.9% of the support tickets we receive regarding a bind issue or input issues.

Please contact us in any case and we'll try to support as good as possible!
